Smile, it's painless!

Ever dream up a good idea? I did during my Sunday afternoon nap.

You see, I've had this vexing cleaning problem (disgusting really) called my husband's bathroom sink. You know the problem, girls, it's those whiskers! Well, his sink has been stopped up for about a week. The water does go down, but it takes a lo-o-ong time. I've tried Drano, Liquid Plumber, everything short of taking the darn thing apart, still it's a slow drain to China. So, this afternoon I was sitting in my recliner trying to come up with a solution and fell asleep. I dreamed I was in his bathroom cleaning the sink drain with a really small brush. When I woke up I went into the kitchen and got the tiny round brush I use to clean very small spaces like the tips of funnels. It's about 8" long and was made to clean test tubes and things like that. I took it into the bathroom, shoved it down past the flat stopper and brushed it up and down. When I pulled it out it was covered with disgusting gunk. I continued around the stopper pulling out more gunk and soon the water was draining smoothly.

Now for the best part of all...he thanked me! Did you hear that? He thanked me for cleaning his bathroom and fixing his sink! Now, if I can just dream up the next Great American Novel...
