Smile, it's painless!
music I wonder what will happen
each morning when I wake
will the day be bright with gladness
or my tears a river make
will joy be my companion
and laughter be my lot
or will grief and sorrow find me
and make my heart a knot
this one thing I do know
whatever the day does bring
my Lord will be within me
and for that my heart will sing
the song is there within me
welling up from deep inside
my Lord is all my music
and He the tune will guide
the words I cannot utter
His Spirit breathes for me
my song goes to the Father
the melody He will see
so it really does not matter
what the day may hold
my Lord will be here with me
I’ll be safe within the fold
