Smile, it's painless!
On the beach
Gene took me to the beach to have dinner. We sat outside on the restaurant patio overlooking the water and watched the sunset. There was a man singing oldies from the 50's & 60's (my kind of music) and it was actually background music, not like the overpowering stuff they play in restaruants nowadays where you have to shout over it. There weren't too many people and it was pretty romantic, too. There was a rainbow in the east just before sunset and sometines a bird would fly in for a snack filched from an uncleared table or a tray held aloft as the server weaved between tables. We saw a few french fries meet this fate and watched very carefully as our tray meandered in our direction. Always having my trusty camera with me, I got pictures of both sunset and birds.
The wires are supposed to keep the birds out of the restaurant area, but the just fly around them.
