Smile, it's painless!
Home at last!
Three months ago I told you about my friend, Kelly, who was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. The cancer started in a mole (which she had put off getting checked) and spread to her brain and adrenal gland. Kelly went jogging in the evening and in the morning she had problems using her left side. The doctors gave her 2 months to live.
This vibrant, active, health conscious woman slipped into a coma on Friday and went home to be with her Lord on Monday morning...3 months and 1 day after the doctors gave their verdict. She was talking to people about Jesus right up to the end and looking forward to seeing him at last.
Kelly worked as a Children's Minister for many years. She loved them and said they were all little angels to her, especially the ones who acted the least like "angels". We will all miss her terribly, but she's right where she longed to be. Some day I'm going to see her again and we will be together forever, never to part again! Praise the Lord!!
